Ghinis are both specific enemies and an enemy type selectable in the Enemy Editor. They are ghostly spirits that wander around aimlessly. Normal Ghinis move in 4 directions, while Phantom Ghinis move in 8 directions, ignoring walkable combos. It should also be noted that Phantom Ghinis placed on the screen via the enemy placement window always return. As of build 1145, Normal Ghinis are in the Walking Enemy class and Ghinis in the Ghini Class are Phantom Ghinis.

Normal Ghinis move in 4 directions and cannot pass through solid combos while Phantom Ghinis move in 8 direction, pass through solid combos, and are immune to all weapons except the super bomb. In the Legend of Zelda, Normal Ghinis are set as a ring leader on the graveyard screens, where Phantom Ghinis could appear from grave combos. As such, killing a Normal Ghini would cause all the Phantom Ghinis to die as well.
