This is my second quest after Hyrule in Chaos & I spent almost 2 years on it. It’s one amazing quest which has an oriental feel to it and will leave players impressed with its uniqueness and originality. After coming up with the pattern/symmetry-based Hyrule in Chaos (and its many incarnations from Hyrule in Danger -> Hyrule in Trouble -> Hyrule in Peril -> Hryule in Chaos), I decided to come up with a quest that features a natural looking background with a focus on layers & tons of item triggers.
This occurs in the events after Hyrule in Chaos where Link celebrates his victory over Ganon by taking a ship cruise. However, storms caused him to disembark on the beach of a new land. He soon discovers there are two strange lands called Orient & Taoland. Soon he goes on a new quest to try uncover what is causing the non stop rain in Orient & non stop snow in Taoland. Link soon learns that Ganon is the cause behind the weather disturbances & it requires a special item that can control the weather & bring peace to both lands. But that item & 4 other items are hidden in 5 elemental shrines. Additionally, he has to explore 9 new dungeons to recover the Triforce of Wisdom which Ganon requires to complement his stolen Triforce of Power. Eventually, Link manages to enter the fabled Jade Temple & ventures on a crazy trail after Ganon & the battle between Ganon & Link is even more explosive than what was seen in Hyrule in Chaos. Ganon's defeat rests in the shoulders of Link...it's up to you to control Link's destiny & restore peace to Orient & Taoland.
Elise for inspiration, Freedom for his sprites. Joe for good quest review, BH4 for his floating bridge, DarkFlameWolf for her unique trees, Banjooie for the 8 color tree, Dart Zaidyer for the Link sprites, System Error for the dungeon entrances, LinkTheMaster for his 3D pagoda, Noel for his Japanese Oriental Houses, Flippedupmonkey for the Black Chests, Polygonx8 for his spinning heart container and pieces. The Pure Tileset Makers especially Wild Bill & Teilyr. Anyone else I may have forgotten to give credit to.
Please use the 183 player to play the quest.
